Our Commitment
Main Line Armory stands behind the firearms we sell and the customers we serve. Beginning September 1, 2026, eligible firearms purchased from Main Line Armory are covered by our Lifetime Firearm Warranty, providing covered gunsmithing labor for the life of the firearm, subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions outlined below.
Our goal is simple: when you purchase a firearm from Main Line Armory, we want to be a resource for you long after the original sale.
Effective Date & Prior Repairs
The Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty becomes effective September 1, 2026.
The warranty applies to eligible firearms purchased from Main Line Armory, including qualifying firearms purchased prior to the effective date, provided that any warranty claim or repair is submitted on or after September 1, 2026 and otherwise qualifies under the terms of this warranty.
This warranty is not retroactive with respect to previously completed repairs or services.
Any gunsmithing labor, parts, repairs, or other services performed or paid for prior to September 1, 2026 are considered completed transactions and will not be refunded, reimbursed, credited, or otherwise adjusted as a result of the introduction of this warranty program.
Likewise, repairs performed before September 1, 2026 do not create an entitlement to reimbursement simply because the same repair may qualify for coverage if performed after the effective date.
What the Lifetime Warranty Covers
The Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty covers gunsmithing labor required to diagnose and repair covered mechanical or functional issues with an eligible firearm purchased from Main Line Armory.
For a covered repair:
- Main Line Armory will provide covered gunsmithing labor at no charge.
- Replacement parts are not included in the warranty.
- Required replacement parts will be charged to the customer at Main Line Armory’s cost plus 5%.
- Main Line Armory will determine whether a repair can be safely and appropriately performed by our gunsmithing department.
This warranty applies only to eligible firearms originally purchased from Main Line Armory and is subject to the exclusions and conditions described below.
Manufacturer Warranty Takes Priority
Whenever a firearm or covered component remains eligible for repair under the manufacturer’s warranty, the manufacturer’s warranty will be utilized first.
If the manufacturer provides warranty coverage for the issue, Main Line Armory may facilitate sending the firearm to the manufacturer or direct the customer through the manufacturer’s warranty process, as appropriate.
Main Line Armory’s Lifetime Firearm Warranty is intended to provide additional support after applicable manufacturer warranty coverage has been exhausted, expired, denied, or is otherwise unavailable.
A manufacturer’s lifetime warranty does not mean Main Line Armory will perform the repair instead of the manufacturer. When manufacturer coverage is available, Main Line Armory reserves the right to require that coverage to be utilized before performing work under this warranty.
Parts & Components
The Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty is a labor-only warranty.
Replacement parts, components, materials, finishes, shipping, manufacturer fees, or other expenses associated with a repair are not included unless specifically authorized by Main Line Armory.
When Main Line Armory supplies replacement parts for a covered repair, those parts will generally be offered to the customer at:
Main Line Armory’s cost + 5%
The customer will be advised of anticipated parts charges before non-warranty parts are installed whenever reasonably practicable.
Normal Wear & Tear
Firearms are mechanical devices, and their components naturally wear through use. This warranty does not cover routine maintenance, normal wear and tear, cosmetic deterioration, or components that are reasonably expected to wear or require periodic replacement.
Examples may include, but are not limited to:
- Barrels
- Springs
- Recoil assemblies
- Extractors
- Firing pins and related components
- Magazines and magazine components
- Grips
- Stocks
- Batteries
- Sights
- Optics
- Finish or coating wear
- Other consumable or commonly worn components
Main Line Armory will determine, in its reasonable discretion, whether a condition constitutes a covered mechanical or functional issue versus normal wear, routine maintenance, or component replacement.
Owner Modifications & Aftermarket Work
The warranty does not cover failures, damage, malfunctions, or other issues resulting from modifications, alterations, repairs, or installations performed by the firearm owner or by a third party.
Examples include unauthorized:
- Trigger modifications
- Internal component modifications
- Frame or slide modifications
- Barrel modifications
- Fire-control modifications
- Aftermarket parts installation
- Milling or machining
- Refinishing or coating
- Improper assembly or disassembly
- Other alterations affecting the firearm’s function, reliability, or safety
The installation of an aftermarket component does not necessarily void the entire Lifetime Firearm Warranty. However, any issue caused by, related to, or reasonably attributable to an owner or third-party modification may be excluded from coverage.
Main Line Armory will determine whether a modification contributed to the condition requiring repair.
Custom Work Performed by Main Line Armory
Main Line Armory offers gunsmithing, customization, and firearm enhancement services. We understand that customers who purchase a firearm from us may also choose to have our gunsmithing department customize that firearm.
Customers should understand that modifying or customizing a firearm may affect, limit, or void some or all of the firearm manufacturer’s original warranty coverage. Manufacturer warranty policies vary, and the decision to honor or deny a manufacturer’s warranty remains solely with the manufacturer.
When Main Line Armory performs custom work on an eligible firearm originally purchased from Main Line Armory, the firearm will remain eligible for the Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty even if the customization affects or voids the manufacturer’s warranty.
In addition, Main Line Armory will stand behind the workmanship associated with customization performed by our gunsmithing department.
If an issue develops as a result of custom work performed by Main Line Armory:
- Main Line Armory will provide the labor necessary to evaluate and, when reasonably possible, correct our workmanship at no labor charge.
- The underlying firearm will continue to receive applicable labor coverage under the Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty.
- Parts and components remain excluded from free warranty coverage.
- Replacement parts required to complete a covered repair will generally be provided at Main Line Armory’s cost plus 5%, consistent with the terms of this warranty.
- Normal wear and tear, expendable components, and other exclusions contained in this warranty continue to apply.
For purposes of this warranty, qualifying Main Line Armory customization may include gunsmithing, fitting or installation of components, machining, optic cuts, trigger work, firearm modifications, Cerakote or other finishing services, laser engraving, and other custom services performed or specifically authorized by Main Line Armory.
Aftermarket Parts Used in Custom Builds
Main Line Armory’s warranty of its workmanship does not constitute a lifetime warranty of aftermarket parts or components installed as part of a customization.
Aftermarket parts remain subject to the warranty, if any, provided by their respective manufacturer.
If an aftermarket component fails and is covered by its manufacturer’s warranty, that manufacturer’s warranty will be utilized when reasonably available. If the component is no longer under warranty or the manufacturer declines coverage, the customer will be responsible for the cost of the replacement component.
When the related repair otherwise qualifies under the Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty, covered Main Line Armory labor will remain at no charge.
Manufacturer Warranty After Customization
Before authorizing custom work, customers should recognize that modification of a firearm can affect the manufacturer’s willingness or obligation to provide future warranty service.
If Main Line Armory performs the customization and the manufacturer subsequently declines warranty coverage because of that customization, Main Line Armory’s Lifetime Firearm Warranty will become the applicable labor warranty for qualifying repairs, subject to all terms and exclusions contained herein.
Main Line Armory does not guarantee that a firearm manufacturer will continue to honor its original warranty after customization, nor can Main Line Armory modify or control the terms of a manufacturer’s warranty.
This additional protection applies specifically to qualifying firearms purchased from Main Line Armory and subsequently customized by Main Line Armory.
Additional Exclusions
The Lifetime Firearm Warranty does not cover damage or malfunction resulting from:
- Abuse, misuse, neglect, or improper storage
- Improper maintenance
- Corrosion, rust, water, fire, or environmental damage
- Accidents or physical damage
- Use of improper or incompatible ammunition
- Reloaded, remanufactured, or otherwise inappropriate ammunition where the ammunition contributed to the failure
- Squib loads, overpressure ammunition, or ammunition-related damage
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Improper installation of accessories or components
- Normal cosmetic wear
- Theft or loss
- Damage occurring during transportation by parties outside Main Line Armory’s control
- Use of the firearm contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions or applicable law
Safety & Repairability
Main Line Armory reserves the right to decline any repair that our gunsmith determines cannot be safely or reasonably performed.
Some firearms may be obsolete, discontinued, damaged beyond economical repair, or require replacement parts that are no longer commercially available.
The Lifetime Firearm Warranty does not guarantee that every firearm can be repaired, nor does it guarantee the availability of replacement parts.
If a firearm cannot be safely repaired or the necessary parts are unavailable, Main Line Armory will discuss available options with the customer. Unless otherwise specifically authorized by Main Line Armory, this warranty does not provide for replacement of the firearm or reimbursement of its purchase price.
Warranty Exceptions
We understand that circumstances vary and that not every situation fits neatly within a written warranty policy.
Main Line Armory reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to make exceptions to these terms when we believe doing so is appropriate.
Any exception made on one occasion does not modify the terms of this warranty or require Main Line Armory to make the same exception in the future.
Warranty Eligibility
To qualify for the Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty:
- The firearm must have been purchased directly from Main Line Armory.
- Main Line Armory must be able to verify the original purchase through its records or other acceptable documentation.
- The firearm must remain legally eligible to be possessed and serviced.
- The firearm must be presented to Main Line Armory in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies.
Transfer-only firearms, firearms purchased elsewhere and transferred through Main Line Armory, and used firearms are excluded unless Main Line Armory expressly states otherwise in writing at the time of sale.
Transferability
The Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners unless Main Line Armory expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Shipping & Transportation
Unless otherwise specifically stated by Main Line Armory, shipping, insurance, transfer fees, manufacturer fees, and other transportation-related expenses are not included as part of the Lifetime Firearm Warranty.
All firearms must be transported, shipped, received, and transferred in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
No Coverage for Consequential Expenses
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty does not cover incidental or consequential expenses resulting from a firearm being unavailable for use, including lost time, ammunition, travel expenses, loss of use, third-party gunsmithing expenses, or similar costs.
How to Request Warranty Service
Customers seeking service under the Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty should bring the firearm to Main Line Armory or contact our team before arranging shipment.
Our staff will:
- Verify the firearm was purchased from Main Line Armory and is eligible for coverage.
- Inspect or evaluate the reported issue.
- Determine whether manufacturer warranty coverage remains available.
- Utilize available manufacturer warranty coverage first when appropriate.
- Determine whether the issue qualifies for coverage under the Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty.
- Determine whether previous customization or aftermarket components contributed to the issue.
- Provide an estimate for parts and any non-covered services before proceeding whenever reasonably practicable.
Do not bring or ship a loaded firearm to Main Line Armory.
Important Warranty Terms
The Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty is intended to provide covered gunsmithing labor for qualifying firearms for as long as Main Line Armory offers the program and is able to legally and safely perform the applicable service.
The program is effective beginning September 1, 2026, and does not create any right to a refund, reimbursement, or credit for repairs, labor, parts, or services performed or paid for before that date.
Custom work performed by Main Line Armory on an eligible firearm does not, by itself, terminate that firearm’s eligibility for the Main Line Armory Lifetime Firearm Warranty, although the customization may affect or void the original manufacturer’s warranty.
This warranty is subject to applicable federal, state, and local law. Nothing in this warranty is intended to limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited or waived.
Main Line Armory reserves the right to determine warranty eligibility and whether a particular repair, condition, component, or circumstance qualifies for coverage under this program.
