Description:
Defensive Shooting 1 is designed for individuals who have successfully completed Basic Pistol Level 1 & 2 or an equivalent course. Participants must demonstrate strict adherence to the Four Universal Firearm Safety Rules to enroll.
This course introduces the fundamentals of holster use. Students are required to have an outside-the-waistband Kydex holster that is specific to their firearm. Our instructors will teach a Four-Step Holster Draw Drill designed to help you safely draw and re-holster your firearm with confidence and precision.
This comprehensive class focuses on developing essential defensive shooting skills. Through a combination of practical drills and real-life scenario training, students will work to improve their accuracy, speed, and decision-making abilities. Emphasis is placed on building situational awareness and readiness under dynamic conditions.
By the end of the course, instructors will assist each student in creating a personalized training plan to support ongoing improvement and skill development.

-Magazine carrier
-Competition style or concealed carry belt (i.e, Kore Belt)
-Outside waistband holster (must be kydex molded specific to your firearm.
No soft sided holsters will be allowed, i.e Uncle Mikes)
-Ammunition: 150 rds
-Eye/Ear Protection: YES (provided if needed)
-Prerequisites: Completion of Basic Pistol 1 & 2 or equivalent
